Oh yeah, yesterday i had jus bought a packet of rice cake from Chinatown. I am ready to make the dish anytime when i have got all the easy-to-get ingredients ready. It is a very popular Korean snack food which is commonly purchased from korea street vendors. This dish is very easy to prepare and cook. It is very delicious too. I will plan my recipe below.
Ingredients:
1 packet of rice cake
2 tablespoons hot pepper paste
1 tablespoon of sugar
4 cups of water
7 dried anchovies
3-4 stems of green onions
Steps:
1. Separate the tubes of rice cake into individual pieces.
2. In a pan, pour 4 cups of water and add 7 dried anchovies after removing their heads and intestines.
3. Boil the water for 10 minutes over medium heat.
4. Remove the anchovies and add the rice cakes, 2 TBS of hotpepper paste, 1 TBS sugar.
5. Stir it constantly.
6. Cut 7 green onions into 5 cm long pieces, and add them to the pot.
7. Keep stirring until the sauce is thick and the rice cake is shiny.
8. Transfer it to a plate and serve!
